Nokia OZO 360 VR Camera UK Launch
Production Company: Ivory Worldwide
Scenic Construction: Blackfriars Scenery and RS Sets
Lighting Designer: Gary Collins GCLD
Sound Designer: Richard Sinclair
Rigging: Blackout
The Nokia OZO is the world’s first professional-grade Virtual Reality camera. IVORY created the camera’s EMEA launch event at the Greenwich O2 Arena, London and I was the 3D Designer on the project.
Working closely with the IVORY project leaders and the clients event and product teams in the US and Finland this interactive event was put together in just over seven weeks.
The venue did not have a stage big enough for all of our audience so. with the help of Blackfriars Scenery the stage was built out in a curve to accommodate an in-the-round auditorium for 300 people. Blackout Rigging, Gary Collins's lighting and Richard Sinclair's sound came together to create a great launch event with a live 360 VR demo streamed in from Westminster.
